My name is Carmen Escobar, I have been with SSOA since 2005, although I had been reading the web site materials since 1999. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in alternative spirituality, even though I went to a convent for most of my school life. It was fantastic to discover the internet and be able to find so much alternative material to read and ponder. I read as much as I could but never committed to anything. I was content to sit and watch what others were doing and thinking. But I was always drawn to the materials in SSOA, I kept coming back until eventually my partner and I signed up as a couple for the study program. It seems the watching part of my life is over and I am traveling along a more participative road now.
My parents are originally from Spain but they immigrated to Brazil and then to South Africa and back to Spain so I grew up enjoying the diversity that the different countries and languages offered. As an adult I have continued to move: South Africa, Spain, New Zealand and lastly, for the last six years, Germany has been my home. Being able to live in different countries has made me very appreciative of personal freedom and the choice to be who I am, so I find that this ascension path I am walking is similar. It is fulfilling and exciting and a little daunting at the same time.
I am part of a consciously ascending family. This means my husband goes out to work every day whilst our teenagers go off to school, and I stay at home. Through the various interactions we have with society as well as between ourselves, we are learning to find our paths, trying to find balance between the physical world and ascension, both individually and as a clan. We are trying to map ascending family and all of us participate actively in this intention. I am happy to assess family issues in relation to ascension amongst those drawn to work with me.
I also really love to work with nature and the plant kingdoms and find myself drawn to hobbies such as soap making and silk scarf dyeing so that I can interact with the essential oils, herbs, plants, minerals, clays and all the other lovely bounty nature provides.

The donation for an hour long consultation by telephone is Euro 55 and a series of 6 consultations would be Euro 275.
