Lessons of an Ascending Teacher

Teaching in Hawaii

 By: Rhonda Courtemanche

This past conclave in Big Sky, I had the opportunity speak about my experiences as a teacher on the island of Kauai.  This was a grand gift to be able to live on the land of Earth’s heart charka and to have the opportunity to work closely with my Hawaiian ancestors.  The beauty of the island is indescribable with flowering trees of all colors, beautiful sunsets, beaches and beautiful people.  This was my impression when I started my first days of work in a small local town on the west side of the island.

Working in the islands with the Hawaiian people and their ancestry was such a different experience than working on the mainland.  The people are very magnetic and the energy flow is very peaceful and gentle.  Life is slow and there is no rush to get anywhere fast and this was also displayed during school hours.  They mostly run figure eight energy flow which is a rounder flow compared to the mainland schools where there are many of Anu decent running pyramidal electrical flow with sharp edges, creating agitation, and edginess and in a rush to get places.

This is not to say I did not have karma with those of a magnetic figure eight flow.  There was one student whose ancestry I had karma with.  He was a beautiful large Hawaiian boy that liked to joke around and have a good time.  The kids liked him however he sometimes got carried away.  He ran figure eight and at the beginning he would puff himself with everyone else’s energy creating a larger petal for himself and a smaller one for the others.  He would get louder and louder, banging on his drum and distracting the class.  The ancestors took away his petal and gave him the smallest one in the group.  He needed to learn how to work unity with all the others which he eventually did.  This occurred after a few phone calls to his family including his auntie.  Now, aunties have a pull in the family and people listen to the auntie.  They hold the law and they expect everyone else in the family to abide by it.  She had a good talk with him and things changed from then out.  Also, she talked to his father and it was smooth sailing from there.

There were many lessons learned regarding group energy flow.  In community or ohana, there has to be a flow that dances around everyone and all have to work toward the common good for all.  If there is one that does not hold their weight and causes distortion, it will pull the rest of the group into distortion.  This is exactly what occurred to one of my musical groups where a few students of Anu inheritance distorted the group flow.  No matter what I did to try and anchor a magnetic flow amongst the group and unity and collaboration thought form, they could not participate in this flow and continually threw the group into distortion.  This showed up as behavior problems and after working on the mirror for my own inner family, I realized it was due to his genetics that things were not going to shift for the group.

So, I cancelled the dream for having them in the group.  Their mother was the president of the band booster parent group that I met with every month and I explained about her sons’ behavior problems.  She almost took them out of the group when I planned to give them a B on their report cards, however she spoke to the principal, he changed their grades and they stayed in the group.  The behavior problems continued and I reported them to her via phone calls and emails and the next day she had them removed from class and resigned from her position as president.  This was a blessing to the entire band and parent organization for we were able to make huge shifts in the inner dynamics of the group energy flow and unity and collaboration amongst all was sustained on a more regular basis.  Students and parents had to step up to the plate so to speak to take over their places and this allowed others to shine and share of their talents creating more of a balance and equality amongst all and I was able to enjoy my work.

I had a lot of fun with the groups as got to know them.  I introduced the “bubble” concept to a few of my classes and they responded well to it.  We talked about personal boundaries with the analogy that one’s energetic field is like a bubble.  We talked about staying in your own bubble and trying to keep one’s bubble full with energy and rainbow colors and having it be the same size as everyone’s in the group to keep it the group in balance.  As they mastered this concept I was able to direct the energy flow around them creating a more fluid class where everyone worked together and got along. One day a student was not feeling well and I shared that his bubble was “popped” and that he needed to repair it and get all the energy back so he could blow it back up.  He sat with his head down in the back of the room for most of the class, and by the end he perked up and was feeling better.  Another young man commented that he repaired his bubble.

I shared other ascension information with another class I taught which was a teenage pregnancy class.  In Hawaii, there is a high rate of teenage pregnancy.  Some people frown upon it but others including the Hawaiian ancestors support the concept.  Life in Hawaii revolves around the family or ohana and many families are quite large.  They gather together for parties in pavilions at the local beaches celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and newborn births or just to get together, talk story, play music and enjoy each others company.  The girls I taught came from supportive families and even though mom or dad may have been upset at first, they became excited as the due date came closer.

We did some fun exercises including journaling, gentle walks and stretches and visualizations to move their energy and connect to their unborn babies.  When I spoke to the girls, I told them I was also speaking to their baby.  I shared about the affects of watching TV and about their diet including how the nature kingdoms do not have agreements to be eaten, only the fish kingdom has agreements to nourish and feed humanity.  I shared that I was vegetarian and we had many discussions about what they liked to eat and what their baby would like to eat when born.  They thought I was “weird” at first, however when other young ladies joined the class, they would always tell them I did not watch TV and I did not eat meat in a kind way showing that they accepted me as I was and I accepted them.  The mirror for teaching this class and working with pregnant young woman was that on a parallel plane I had many children and was pregnant with another!  I have never had a child in this life so the polarity was expressed elsewhere.

There were many other mirrors that presented themselves during the first half of the year which mirrored my own inner family.  This was the first time I had taught at the high school level and I looked forward to connecting to those parts of self that needed healing.  They presented themselves quickly in two mirrors; one was a young woman and the other and young man.  She was a spitfire and questioned everything I did, talked back, had a big attitude (Hawaiians call woman like this a tita), swore at me a few times until I stood up for myself and did something about it.  I confronted her, took her into the vice principal’s office as well as called home and spoke to her mother.  I needed to establish a rapport with her and an understanding and we did halfway through the year when I integrated this part of myself.  The second half of the year went smoothly and she ended up being a leader in the class and which helped make the rest of the year very enjoyable for both of us.

The young man had a difficult upbringing and was loud, rude and talked back, or was quiet, moody and explosive when confronted.  He really was in need of love, attention and someone to notice him and praise him.  He was labeled a trouble maker and took on a lot of unconscious darkness from others.  I worked with him in dreamtime and as I cleared my mirror and removed the darkness off of him things began to shift.  I met his grandma who was raising him and this also shifted our relationship for I made a connection with his home life and ohana.  I gave him a wide berth to do what he wanted to do as long as he got his assignments done and we created a nice dance between us.  He was really a wonderful person and in loving and honoring him, I was able to love and honor that part of self he mirrored and my relationship with my inner family became more unity based and peaceful.

There was also much work needing to be done with the land in global service as well as for my ancestry and this ended up changing the dream at the school in a dramatic way.  The land in which the school was built upon had many lawless records stored therein and I began to work with Earth to release them.  Also, there were no ancestors present in the land to support those living here and I began to resurrect any combust ancestors and records and began to push the ancestors into everyone in the community including all those who went to school.

Lawlessness was also mirrored in the behavior of many students on campus.  There were drugs being sold, an occasional fight or two would break out and there was HUGE attitude from many young men and woman to faculty members and administration.  Kids spoke rudely to the adults, sometimes using foul language.  They also spoke rudely and disrespectfully to their own peers and in many overheard conversations on campus you would hear a swear word every other word in a sentence.  Students would talk on their cell phones in class to their friends in another class.  They would leave to go to the restroom and hang out with their friends whom they just called and some would have a smoke.  The kids ran the school and the adults let them for many were afraid to confront the lawlessness of their own inner teenagers and the unconscious darkness of the school was growing.

I began to anchor true spiritual law and started to send all unconsciousness and darkness back to whomever it belonged to.  There were many instances where I had to send back unconscious harm back to other teacher’s classrooms for they would swap my class dream with theirs; sending the lawless unconscious energetic dance that was occurring in their class that they could not manage to mine while taking the unity based flow I was trying to anchor in my own class.  These days were very noticeable for the students’ behavior and attitude would change drastically and there would be many arguments amongst the kids and a dark energy would sit heavily over the group.  Once I figured out the dance, I was able to clear the karma with other groups and send their shit back to them!

The teachers and faculty started to attune to the dream of unity and upholding the law that I was anchoring.  In the monthly faculty meetings, teachers began to talk about the behavior of the students and their lack of respect.  There were break out sessions where teachers brainstormed on what types of changes need to occur in the school and teachers had to mentally and emotionally prepare themselves to enforce these new rules for many were intimidated by the students.  This created a dialogue where all teachers agreed that everyone had to implement the new rules and even teachers needed to follow the rules; including no talking on one’s cell phone during school hours, no smoking, establish more or a rapport with their students and no foul language.  The student body was informed of the new rules before spring break and if they did not follow them, the consequences would be a one hour detention for the first offense, a two hour the second time and suspension on the third.

The students did not believe the teachers would enforce the new policy but they listened, and when they came back from break life changed on campus!!  The teachers upheld their part of the bargain and enforced the rules and the administration upheld their part of the bargain and followed through with the consequences.  The students saw that this policy was here to stay and the campus began to shift.  Teachers and students began to talk and share their reactions to the new policy allowing both sides to be heard.  Everyone began to notice that the behavior was changing for the better on campus and many teachers and students shared that they liked the change.  There was less foul language and fewer attitudes from the students to the faculty and the energy had shifted for law was being upheld in the unconscious.  This was a huge success for the ancestors and for the land, so successful that Earth Mother decided to take the dream that was anchored here at the school and implement it in the other schools in the islands as a template for them to follow.

The end of the year was very special for after all that was said and done, everyone was glad that

summer was here and school was almost out!  The last few days were very relaxed with a school wide picnic and festival.  Students and faculty played games together, sang songs and played Hawaiian music on their ukulele’s and guitars.  There was also an assembly where many of the graduating seniors danced hula and sang beautiful songs; showing a nice bond that they created by the end of the year by holding hands and singing in honor of their last days together.  I talked story with many of the students for they knew I was leaving and a new teacher.  They wanted to know where I was going and what I would be doing and I shared I was returning to the mainland for a few years.  Many of them asked me to come back and visit when I returned and some even asked me to come to their graduation in a few years.

My stay in the islands was short however I have many fond memories of all the students and many faculty members I worked with.  They taught me a lot and I hope they learned something from me.  It was a wonderful experience to be a part of their ohana and talk to their ancestors, even if it was for a little while.  Many of the students and adults had big hearts and loved deeply and sometimes “attitude” was the only way to protect them when their hearts were opened.  And when they were with their ohana the love would flow and their hearts blessed with joy, laughter and song.  This is the hope that the Hawaiian ancestors hold deep in their hearts at this time; to see all of their people return one day to love being the foundation of all that is.  This is also what I have come to understand in working with these beautiful people of Hawaii-Nei and I thank my ancestors for being my guides and supporting me with their steadfast power, strength, fortitude and love.

Blessings and Namaste,

Rhonda and the Ancestors
